We were on our way back from a 5-day trip to the Oregon Coast when we encountered car trouble. We made a food stop when all of a sudden, the steering wheel of our GMC Yukon became so tight, I can't turn it. I called a tow truck and William from Grants Pass Towing was so honest and told me he does not know how to fix the problem. He called someone form a "nearby autoshop" to come take a look as I told him we are still about six hours from home. Within 5 minutes, Jim from Kelly's automotive came and knew immediately what the problem is. He drove the Yukon to the shop. It was getting late in the afternoon, and they told me that it might be too late to get the parts needed. Luckily, they were able to get the parts and worked on the car immediately. Service Manager Curtis and owner Dave Kelly were so nice, and very professional. They know we were worried (three women and 2 kids traveling) and assured us we will be back in the road with a safe car.Dave's daughter was having a spaghetti feed fund raising that afternoon and they were supposed to close a little early but Curtis, Jim and the gang stayed to make sure our car is fixed.Oh yeah, I was expecting a hefty repair bill but it was actually a lot lower than I expected. I was thinking the repair will cost me a fortune, so that was a nice surprise.Another bonus, while chatting with Curtis and Dave while waiting, I found out that Curtis is from Fairfield, my hometown, and Dave is from Napa, one of my favorite city. What a small world. Bottomline...Kelly's Automotive saved the day. What a wonderful, honest, and professional group. It is so rare to find a business like yours.
